Twilight series racing

The SPASC Twilight Series welcomes single-handed, off-the-beach dinghy sailors for Friday afternoon racing from 5:30 pm. In Division 1 we usually have about fifteen to twenty Ilca 7 or 6  (Laser Full Rig or Radials) racing each week and the occasional Impulse.  Our GOLD Fleet Division is for Ilca 4 (Laser 4.7) and Open Skiffs and can see up to 10 boats competing.

Twilight sailing at SPASC is competitive for some and social for others. We are a friendly bunch and most of us have dinner and a couple of drinks at the club afterwards.

Members of other clubs are most welcome to sail as visitors on occasion, but they do have to become members of SPASC to participate regularly in the twilight series. We have concessional membership for full, financial and active members of other clubs to sail in our twilights, but if you are not an active and financial member of another club, you will need to join SPASC as a full member to sail in the Twilight series regularly.

You will need to register as a member FIRST before you can register for the twilights racing program.

All twilights sailors are able and expected to assist in volunteering to keep the club running. This will include rostering for start boat, rescue boat and canteen duties

Please view the club registration page, Sailing Instructions and twilights Division 1 registration via the links below.
